Or rather my dog took me on a walk. Brad trailed behind Brynner as he pointed out trees, grass, the sky, purple flowers, and imaginary bugs. Of course he had to stop every so often to drive his cars (one for each hand) on the sidewalk. Rusty was getting very impatient and wanted to know what the hold up was! He ran circles around me and whined...which reminded me of my 1 yr old as a matter of fact. Didn't I know that he had to pee on every single bush, tree, and flower? My favorite is when he has nothing left but he'll keep on trying. I give him an A for effort on that one. We finally made it over to the weird park by my house (there is no other way to describe a park without a slide, swing, or money bars). I happily watched my cute hubby and child play when Rusty saw something he HAD to go see. No no that's entirely wrong. He saw something that made him go crazy with stupidity. He checked his brain on the side of the road and forgot he was tethered...to me. Before I know it my arm is practically pulled out of it's socket and I land with a big thud while he drags me until I let go (duh!). That's right, my dog took me on a walk and proceeded to beat me up. I have bruises, scrapes, and cuts a plenty! But let's just face it, people falling down is just plain funny. It wasn't long after I had licked my wounds that Brad and I were rolling (I was limping) on the ground laughing. I hadn't taken a beating like that since the time I was catapulted in a thicket of Willow bushes while rollerblading...down a hill...on a date. Did I mention that I was on a date? The date had to come into the willows to help untangle me. That's also a good story, a heroic one in fact. I sacrificed my body so I wouldn't run a little old man over. The date didn't teach me much (like how to stop or turn) before rolling me down a hill (it was like my 3rd time!). But back to the non heroic story...you know the one where my dog hurt me and my pride? Lucky for me that weird park is encircled with really tall grass so I don't think anyone but Brad and Brynner saw. Because I am fresh out of pictures of me falling and stuff I thought I'd at least draw you one. Enjoy my fierce artistic skills.

I dont know what to say, I'm laughing so hard! I know the feeling when something like that happens and you just want to laugh with someone. You are lucky Brad was there to roll on the ground with you (and help you up too) Sounds like Rusty needs a long long long run! Ah, I miss my doggy! Enjoy it!
Love your drawing! Hope your bruises are getting better!
Ouch! I hate it when things like that happen. :)
The idea that you wrote about in your comment (the picture of the hand holding the flower) made perfect sense. It sounds really cute too. I'll have to try it someday. Thanks!
Oh Tahnie, as always you are so much better than me in every way. When I fall and get hurt and embarrassed, I turn into a very angry person. And if Zach laughs (even a little) Zach learns the joys of celibacy(:.
p.s. where are the parks with the money bars? I'm going THERE.
you should have pictures of the bruises cause those were awesome. Thanks for the fun times this weekend.
My secret to posting a lot is in the "scheduling" of posts. Sometimes when I have time to write more than one post, I schedule it for a future date (like the next day) then push publish. It pops up automatically on that day/time. So, that's my secret. :)
